Import your LinkedIn account into TrackJobChanges.com by following these steps
Updated on December 10, 2020
It's really easy to export all of your connections from your LinkedIn account into a CSV file that you can import into any marketing automation or job change tracking software.
Step 1: Go to your Member Data Settings page.
You can also get there by going to the drop-down menu under your avatar on the top-right (where it says "Me"), clicking on it, and then clicking on "Settings & Privacy"
*Step 2: Scroll down until you see the "How LinkedIn Uses Your Data" header. *
Under that header there's a sub-header titled "Download your data." Click there and a form will drop down. This link will go directly to it.
Check the Connections box and click Request Archive. You may be prompted for your password.
Step 3: Wait a few minutes for the archive to process.
Now would be a good time to check your TJC account for any new job changes! Reach out to those folks and tell them congratulations. In a few minutes, you'll get an email that looks like this:
Click on the link and you'll be back at the "Download your data" section from the previous step, except now your archive download will be ready. Click on the "Download archive" button and you'll get a zip file named something like "Basic_LinkedInDataExport_03-07-2019.zip." When you unzip the file you'll get a CSV called "Connections.csv." Open that and you'll see the first name, last name, company, position, and even the emails of each of your connections!
Here's the first part of the file I received:
